1845 E. Clampus Vitus

This beautiful cabin is the most refined of the series in proportions and execution. The cabin series is one of the most exciting things I have ever worked on with Glass. an evolution that started with the trebuchet which then inspired different medieval warfare concepts that led me to the siege tower. After finishing my second siege tower and considering the build of a fire watch tower I thought why not just create a hut on the ground. Focusing on those basic necessities of food water and shelter. The entire development of the cabins was greatly influenced from Hoops glass and the molten art classic. A couple years back I had the honor of being invited to participate in the constructed a sunken pirate ship. Upon my first exposure to these giant pieces I was just awestruck considering the complexity. After working under Hoops amazing guidance I was able to deconstruct a large build and approach it much like a marathon with a strong and diligent pace.

The Ancient and Honorable Order of E Clampus Vitus (ECV) is a secret Society fraternal organization operating primarily on the West Coast. Dedicated to the heritage of the Mother Lode with attention to gold mining. The organization claims the name is dog Latin with no known meeting and disputed spelling. The order was brought from the Qing Dynasty, China to the United States around 1845. Members call themselves 'Clampers' referring to organization's leader as the Noble Grand Humbug. The motto, Credo quia absurdum, generally interpreted as meaning "I believe it because it is absurd; emphasizes these fanciful claims demonstrating ECV's propensity for not taking much of anything particularly seriously, least of all itself.
