It's been many years since I've revisited this traditional design. The sidecar was the very first shaping concept that I learned for creating a 'heady' way back in the early 2000s I made hundreds of them that were sold to Headdies.com and we're distributed all over the country long before the Internet or social media. Glass is, an absolutely magical, and incredibly challenging medium, and the traditional sidecar was a perfect platform for me to begin understanding how to form and melt this medium into these beautiful works of art. It's been a long tradition that I've been dedicated to for over 30 years. I love making functional glass.
